“2025 OCR 100m Official Tournament in Yoshinogawa” Event Announcement

4月19日、汗ばむぐらいの晴天のもと、2025年の公式大会がJOSA四国ブロック主催、JOSA公認『オブスタクルスポーツ吉野川コース』で開催されました。

On April 19, under pleasantly warm and sunny skies, the 2025 Official Tournament was hosted by JOSA’s Shikoku Block and held at the JOSA-certified “Obstacle Sports Yoshinogawa Course.”

当日は、10時から志田敏郎徳島県副知事、原井敬吉野川市長、松本光裕吉野川市教育委員会副委員長、大会パートナーである株式会社松島組の松島会長にご列席いただき、開会式を執り行いました。

今回の大会は前回の日本選手権同様、出場選手を「女子U18(12歳～17歳)」「男子U18(12歳～17歳)」「女子シニア(18歳以上)」「男子シニア(18歳以上)」の4クラスに分けて行いました。

選手は予選を2本走ることができ、早い方のタイムが決勝進出への選考基準となります。決勝へは男子シニアクラスはタイムの早い20名、その他のクラスは10名が進出。決勝の1本のタイムで順位が決まる、という流れです。

今回、男子シニアはトップ5人、その他のクラスはトップ3人が、10月18日に開催される『第２回オブスタクルスポーツ(OCR100m)日本選手権』のシード選手として、決勝戦から参戦する権利が与えられます。
さらに、9月にスウェーデンで開催される『World Obstacle UIPM 2025 OCRチャンピオンシップス』に選手を推薦することも決まっており、大会は大変盛り上がりました。

この大会には、女子U18の選手の出場はなかったのですが、男子U18の選手たちが特に素晴らしいスコアをたたき出したのが特に印象的でした。

The opening ceremony was held at 10:00 a.m., attended by distinguished guests including Mr. Toshiro Shida, Deputy Governor of Tokushima Prefecture, Mr. Takashi Harai, Mayor of Yoshinogawa City, Mr. Mitsuhiro Matsumoto, Deputy Chairman of Yoshinogawa City's Board of Education, and Mr. Matsushima, Chairman of Matsushima Construction Co., the event's partner.
Like the previous Japan Championships, this tournament divided participants into four categories: Women's U18 (ages 12～17), Men's U18 (ages 12～17), Women's Senior (18 and above), and Men's Senior (18 and above).
Each athlete runs two preliminary rounds, and their faster time is used as the criterion for advancing to the finals. In the finals, the top 20 fastest times in the Men's Senior category and the top 10 fastest times in all other categories qualify. Rankings are determined based on a single run in the final round.

In this tournament, the top 5 athletes in the Men's Senior category and the top 3 athletes in all other categories will earn the right to participate directly in the final round of the "2nd Obstacle Sports (OCR 100m) Japan Championship," scheduled for October 18.
Furthermore, it was decided to recommend athletes for the "World Obstacle UIPM 2025 OCR Championships," which will be held in Sweden this September, adding to the great excitement of the tournament.
Although there were no participants in the Women's U18 category for this tournament, the Men's U18 athletes stood out with their exceptional scores, which was particularly impressive.
