“Obstacle Box Demo Event 2025 in Nakameguro” to be held
東京で、二回目のオブスタクルボックスのイベントを実施。体験会の参加者は100名を超える大盛況に。
In Tokyo, the second obstacle box event was held.
The number of participants in the experience session exceeded 100, making it a great success.
2025年5月25日(日)、中目黒GT（東京都目黒区上目黒2-1-1）で『オブスタクルボックスデモイベント2025 in 中目黒』を開催しました。
当地でのイベント開催は3月に続いて二回目となります。
体験会の参加者を4月10日より募集開始し、迎えた当日、心配されたお天気も朝には雨が上がり、午前10時に開会式を執り行いました。
続いてオブスタアスリートたち4名によるデモンストレーション、そのあと待ちに待った体験会を開始。
体験会は午前、午後各二回ずつ実施。まずは参加者全員で準備運動、そして3グループに分かれてオブスタクルにチャレンジし、オブスタクルスポーツの楽しさを満喫していました。
参加者は、当日の希望者もあわせると102名。3歳から47歳まで、多くのみなさんにオブスタクルスポーツを体験してもらえて、大変有意義な一日となりました。
当日は、パリ2024オリンピックの近代五種競技銀メダリストの佐藤大宗選手が特別ゲストとして来場。子どもたちは、佐藤選手に銀メダルを見せてもらい、大いに盛り上がっていました。
JOSA参与の尾木直樹氏（尾木ママ）も来場、準備運動に参加し、いくつかのオブスタクルにもトライして、来場者の拍手を受けていました。
このあと、2025年は7月13日、10月12日に中目黒でオブスタクルボックスのイベントを開催する予定です。

On May 25, 2025 (Sunday), the "Obstacle Box Demo Event 2025 in Nakameguro" was held at the Tokyo GT (1-2-1 Kamimeguro, Meguro-ku, Tokyo).
The event in this area is the second time following the one in March.The participants of the experience meeting were recruited from April 10, and on the day of the event, the weather was a concern, but the rain stopped in the morning, and the opening ceremony was held at 10:00 in the morning.
Next up, four obstacle athletes will perform a demonstration, followed by the long-awaited hands-on experience session.
The trial sessions were held twice in the morning and twice in the afternoon. First, all participants warmed up together, then divided into three groups to challenge the obstacle course, thoroughly enjoying the fun of obstacle sports. With additional participants who signed up on the day, we had a total of 102 attendees—ranging from 3 to 47 years old. It was an incredibly rewarding day, giving so many people the chance to experience obstacle sports.
On the day, modern pentathlon silver medalist from the Paris 2024 Olympics, Taishu Sato, made a special guest appearance. The kids were thrilled when Sato showed them his silver medal, creating an exciting atmosphere.
JOSA participant Naoki Ogi (also known as Ogi Mama) attended the event, joined in the warm-up exercises, tried some obstacles, and received applause from the audience.
After this, we're planning to hold Obstacle Box events in Nakameguro on July 13th and October 12th, 2025.
