Announcement of nomination criteria for the 2025 World Obstacle OCR Championships
今年9月、スウェーデンで開催される『World Obstacle UIPM 2025 OCRチャンピオンシップス』への日本選手推薦基準が決まりました。
The nomination criteria for Japanese athletes participating in the World Obstacle UIPM 2025 OCR Championships, to be held in Sweden this September, have been finalized.
このたびJOSAは、9月にスウェーデンで開催される『World Obstacle UIPM 2025 OCRワールドチャンピオンシップス』のOCR100m競技に、日本人選手の推薦を行うことを決め、その選考基準を発表しました。
『World Obstacle UIPM 2025 OCRチャンピオンシップス』は、World Obstacle（FISO＝The Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles）の国際連盟加盟国による公式の世界選手権で、140ヵ国以上からのアスリートたちがオブスタクルスポーツ競技の世界一をかけてたたかう場となります。
この大会に出場するためには、World Obstacle (FISO) に加盟する各国の統括団体の推薦が条件となっており、今回、JOSAは日本でのオブスタクルスポーツの統括団体として、日本人アスリートの世界へのチャレンジをバックアップすることを決めたものです。
JOSAの推薦を受けて本大会に出場した選手の記録は、FISOの公式記録とされます。
この推薦選手の選考は、2024年10月開催の『第１回オブスタクルスポーツ（OCR100m）日本選手権』及び本年4月19日に行われる『2025年OCR100ｍ公式大会 in 吉野川』の成績をもって行い、速やかにJOSAのウエブサイトで発表いたします。
【『World Obstacle UIPM 2025 OCRチャンピオンシップス』とは】
2025年の本大会は9月11日から14日、スウェーデンの人口第二の都市、イェーテボリ（Gothenburg）で開催されます。
レースコースは、イェーテボリの中心地に位置するスロッツコーゲン公園（Slottsskogen Park）が使用されます。
競技は「SHORT COURSE 3km」「STANDARD COURSE 12km」「TEAM RELAY 2km&100m」「100m」「SHORT COURSE OPEN 3km」「STANDARD COURSE OPEN 12km」の6種目で開催され、JOSAが日本人選手を推薦するのはこのうちの「100m」種目となります。
「100m」種目は、二日間にわたり予選が行われ、その翌日に決勝戦が執り行われます。

The Japan Obstacle Sports Association (JOSA) has decided to nominate Japanese athletes for the OCR 100m event at the World Obstacle UIPM 2025 OCR Championships, which will take place in Sweden this September. They have also announced the selection criteria for these nominations.
The 'World Obstacle UIPM 2025 OCR Championships' are the official World Championships organized by World Obstacle (FISO: The Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles), involving national federation members. This prestigious event will bring together athletes from over 140 countries to compete for the title of the world's best in obstacle sports.
In order to participate in this championship, athletes must be recommended by their respective national governing bodies affiliated with World Obstacle (FISO).
As the governing body for obstacle sports in Japan, JOSA has decided to support Japanese athletes in taking on the challenge of competing on the world stage.
The records of athletes participating in this championship with JOSA's recommendation will be recognized as official records by FISO.
The selection of recommended athletes will be based on the results of the '1st Obstacle Sports (OCR 100m) Japan Championship,' scheduled for October 2024, and the '2025 OCR 100m Official Tournament in Yoshinogawa,' to be held on April 19 this year. The selected athletes will be promptly announced on JOSA's official website.
【What is the 'World Obstacle UIPM 2025 OCR Championships'?】
The 2025 championship will be held from September 11th to 14th in Gothenburg, Sweden, the country's second-largest city by population.
The racecourse will be set in Slottsskogen Park, located in the heart of Gothenburg.
The competition will feature six events: 'SHORT COURSE 3km,' 'STANDARD COURSE 12km,' 'TEAM RELAY 2km & 100m,' '100m,' 'SHORT COURSE OPEN 3km,' and 'STANDARD COURSE OPEN 12km.'
JOSA will recommend Japanese athletes for the '100m' event among these.
The '100m' event will feature two days of qualifiers, followed by the finals on the next day.
